Fairy-tale comes to life

In an enthralling celebration of love, a fairy tale engagement of a beautiful princess with her enchanting prince took place at Le Meridian in Kochi on April 11th, 2021. Surrounded on each side by the calming Kochi backwaters the 5 star luxury hotel, known for it’s style, comfort and sophistication, is a perfect venue for destination weddings and events. The ceremony was held on the lawn in the open air, and the colour scheme of red, peach, light pink and white was simply gorgeous. From the stunning floral decor to the couple dressed in their absolute best, it all seemed so ethereal.

Even though it was a small gathering, the ceremony was magnificent. Maritus Events and Wedding Planners, Kerala’s premium wedding event organizers did an amazing job pulling off this engagement in all its glory!

The twelve story boards with childhood photos of the Bride and Groom each were a surprise gift from the bride’s father and brother and it was quite adorable. There was also an eight-foot tall story book with a unique and majestic caricature of the pair. The brilliant team effort of Maritus Events and Wedding Planners made it all seem so beautiful and like something out of a fairy-tale.

The décor was downright gorgeous, with florals stealing the show. The stage décor was breath-taking and the lighting was flawlessly executed. Both the bride and the groom’s entrances followed by their respective families, who carried sweets and presents for the couple were spectacular, and the background music for both their entrances was a great reflection of their personality. The faint smoke that blanketed the stage floor added just the right amount of mystique to the evening. The groom was first presented with sweets and gifts by the bride’s brothers as he sat in the magnificent chair on the stage with his brothers and cousins besides him. Shortly after gifting the groom, the bride arrived with all her grace, while the groom’s mother, sisters and relatives lavished her with gifts and blessings.

With Le Meriden providing the perfect ambience for the enchanted evening with its lush green surroundings it was indeed a beautiful fairy-tale night in its full glory !
